Their uniform wall thickness provides the proper balance between mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance. Approximate graduations are in durable white enamel. An extra large marking space is also provided. Component Materials: Type I Class A - 3.3 Borosilicate Glass Attributes: ASTM Reference - E960 Specification for Laboratory Glass Beakers Autoclaving: This product will withstand repeated standard autoclave cycles of 121°C at 15 psi for 5 minutes. Heating / Cooling: This product is designed for heating by hot plate, flame, oven, microwave or heating mantles. In normal service it can be heated many times to 230°C. It can be heated one time to 490°C in extreme service. This product can be cooled to -230°C. DO NOT plunge product directly into a liquid coolant. Place the product in the vapor phase of the liquified gasses for slow cooling prior to immersion in the coolant. Vacuum / Pressure: This product is not designed for and is not rated for vacuum or pressure applications.
